Recently, due to the sudden flood disaster caused by super rainfall in Henan Province, China, the power supply and communication base stations in the affected areas were damaged, and many people were unable to send distress signals through the network and telephone. Government departments used UAVs to enter the communication interruption area in the flood disaster area, and the UAVs carried an air emergency communication platform, which was equipped with a mobile public network 4G base station, A long-time continuous mobile signal coverage of about 50 square kilometers has been realized, which not only promotes the restoration of communication in the disaster area under the state of emergency, but also provides the most critical step for rescue.

During emergency disaster relief, UAV can not only realize air networking and signal relay, but also carry photoelectric reconnaissance equipment to assist in searching and rescuing the trapped people, but also be used for emergency transportation and delivery of rescue materials to the affected areas. The application field of UAV will be broader in the future.
